About The Position

US Policy and Evidence is looking for an intern to support the team’s work in the analysis and development of policy solutions to improve affordability and equitable access for patients, support a more sustainable market-based system, and advance business objectives. Interns can expect to: Analyze federal and state policy proposals for business impact and draft related memos; Support the development of proactive policy solutions to improve patient access to innovative medicines; Support government affairs and advocacy team projects, events, and other activities, as needed; Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to better understand business operations and the impact to the business of policy proposals; Develop valuable skills, network, gain exposure to policymaking and advocacy.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or must have attained a Bachelor's degree (recent graduates not currently enrolled in a grad program)
  • Must be pursuing a Master's degree or must have attained a Master's degree
  • Must be pursuing a PhD
  • Public policy, sciences, economics (illustrative, not exhaustive)
  • Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, attention-to-detail, and communication skills
  • Interest in health policy, legislation, and government affairs (through coursework, personal experience, volunteer work, or other activities)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Intensive 12-weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
