About The Position

At Hudson Pacific Properties, we provide best-in-class office and studio space to the biggest names in tech and media. Through our paid NextGen Internship Program, we are seeking a Portfolio Management Intern to join our team for 10 weeks and gain valuable real-world experience by working in-person at Hudson Pacific Properties' headquarters in Los Angeles. As an integral member of the Portfolio Management team, you will contribute to day-to-day operations, assist with special projects, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain exposure to the inner workings of the company. Requirements

  • Applicants must have recently completed (within the last 2 years) or be currently enrolled in an applicable college-level or trade school program.
  • Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter. Your cover letter must clearly indicate your desired location & department(s) of interest, availability, and outline how your major, prior work experience, and/or career goals apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or similar majors.
  • Prior Excel experience through a course or previous internship(s).
  • Interest in the media/entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Portfolio Management team with day-to-day operations and assist with ongoing departmental projects, such as:     - Internal reporting: monthly KPI reports, budget variance reports, leasing analytics, market analytics, capex and cash management, etc.     - Market and sales data collection and analysis: stage supply and studio development trackers, Salesforce, and deal tracking.     - Complex financial models.
  • Gain a healthy range of learning experiences, including financial basics, modelling exercises, and other real estate fundamentals, while also participating in unique, studio-specific tasks.
  • Work with Yardi, advanced Excel projects, PowerPoint, and some Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales/leasing, operations, development, finance, accounting, and investments.
  • Conduct research, organize data, and prepare ad-hoc reports or presentations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance department goals.
  • Complete a final Summer Showcase presentation outlining what you've learned and worked on during your internship and present to fellow interns and team members.
