About The Position

At Hudson Pacific Properties, we provide best-in-class office space to the biggest names in tech and media. Through our paid NextGen Internship Program, we are seeking a Property Management Intern to join our team for 10 weeks and gain valuable real-world experience by working in-person at Hudson Pacific Properties' headquarters in Los Angeles. As an integral member of the Property Management team, you will contribute to day-to-day operations, assist with special projects, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to gain exposure to the inner workings of the company. Requirements

  • Applicants must have recently completed (within the last 2 years) or be currently enrolled in an applicable college-level or trade school program.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Management team with day-to-day operations and assist with ongoing departmental projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support:
  • The management of work orders submitted by tenants in Angus, ensuring they are assigned and completed efficiently and accurately in line with Hudson's response metrics.
  • Coordinate weekly tenant treats and participate in handing out the treats to tenants every Thursday.
  • Shadow the Property Manager during property inspections, leasing activities, and construction meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of these processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tenant Coordinator and Assistant Property Manager, learning essential tasks such as coding invoices, ensuring COI compliance, and working with property staff, tenants, and vendors.
  • Coordinate access for construction vendors involved in tenant improvement projects using Angus and Docutrax.
  • Conduct research, organize data, and prepare reports or presentations as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance department goals.
  • Complete a final Summer Showcase presentation outlining what you've learned and worked on during your internship and present to fellow interns and team members.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.
