About The Position

The Role: In this role, you will support the planning and scheduling activities that enable safe, compliant, and reliable operations across Moderna’s facilities and engineering systems. As a 6-month Co-op on the Business Support team, you will gain hands-on exposure to GMP operations, maintenance planning, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting business-critical processes that drive facility performance and operational excellence. This position will run from July 13th-December 11th. Here's What You’ll Do · Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Support: Assist with planning and scheduling activities for GMP process equipment, calibration, and utilities, including work order review, preventive maintenance (PM) compliance tracking, and backlog management. · Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze maintenance and asset data from CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) and reporting tools to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement. · Asset & Inventory Management: Support asset onboarding activities, spare parts data review, inventory tracking, and maintenance data accuracy within enterprise systems. · Performance Metrics & Dashboards: Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports across multiple platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Tableau) to support adherence reviews, capacity forecasting, and data-driven operational decision-making. · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and Facilities teams to support maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Documentation & Compliance Support: Assist with documentation updates and data reviews to ensure alignment with GMP, safety, and internal compliance standards. · Learning & Development: Apply Moderna’s safety, quality, and operational standards while building technical, analytical, and professional skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. · Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Education - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience - No prior industry experience required; relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior co-op or internship experience is a plus.
  • Required Licenses, Certifications, Courses - None required.
  • This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time.
  • This position is not eligible for remote work.
