About The Position

Micron is looking for a motivated Business Student Co‑op to join our team within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for a student studying Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field who enjoys data analysis, process improvement, and leveraging technology to solve problems. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting key business operations, developing automated systems, and using AI tools to enhance efficiency and decision‑making.

Requirements

Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or similar
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts and macros)
Experience using AI or automation tools to analyze data or optimize workflows
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
High attention to detail and willingness to learn
Must be able to work on-site in Fitchburg, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Nice To Haves

Students with a finance background or strong financial coursework are strongly preferred
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or other automation/data tools
Interest in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement

Responsibilities

Analyze operational and financial data to support business decisions
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated tracking tools using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, macros a plus)
Use AI tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, automation platforms, etc.) to streamline workflows and solve business challenges
Support process improvement initiatives across manufacturing, quality, and operations
Assist with cost analysis, KPI tracking, and performance reporting
Prepare presentations and summaries to communicate findings to leadership
Participate in meetings across multiple departments to understand how a manufacturing business operates
