About The Position
Seeking a dedicated 1st Class Structural Welder with at least 3 years of FCAW 3G/4G structural welding experience. The ideal candidate will weld structural metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of FCAW 3G/4G structural welding experience
- Ability to pass a hands-on FCAW 3G/4G welding test
- 3G downhill progression
- 4G overhead position
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Knowledge of welding safety practices
Nice To Haves
- Shipyard, marine, offshore, or industrial welding experience
- Equipment troubleshooting experience
- Experience with gouging and weld repairs
- Strong attention to quality and detail
