About The Position
The 10th Grade Advisor at Reed City High School plays a crucial role in supporting students during their critical transition into their sophomore year. This position is designed to foster academic success, personal growth, and social development among 10th-grade students. The advisor will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administration to create a supportive and engaging environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Certified teacher preferred.
Responsibilities
- Hold yearly elections
- Participate in quarterly grade sponsor meetings
- Facilitate monthly grade level meetings
- Plan and implement Snowcoming
- Marketing
- Ticket sales
- Court election
- Basketball halftime presentation
- Spirit week and assembly planning
- Dance supervision
- Organize and supervise class competitions (homecoming, snowcoming, etc...)
- Organize and arrange for all needs associated with grade level court members in the homecoming parade.
- Chaperone homecoming and snowcoming dances
- Organize and advise the fundraisers and activities associated with the class.
- Other duties may be needed.
