About The Position

The Bath Authority is seeking 1099 subcontractors for bathroom remodeling. This is an opportunity for experienced installers who can quickly learn a new system. The company is a leader in acrylic bath systems and is expanding into new markets, providing year-round work for contractors. These positions are paid by the job and are 1099 based.

Requirements

• Must have general liability and workers comp insurance to be hired.
• Must have a truck and enclosed trailer for hauling products.
• 2+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in-home renovation experience.
• Ability to take accurate measurements using tape measure, level & combination square.
• Possess and be able to use necessary tools for demolition or installation, including power tools, drills, and jigsaws.
• Valid driver’s license with minimum age of 18 years old, and verifiable insurance.
• Minimum of basic plumbing knowledge (ability to hook up new fixtures, troubleshoot leaking, etc.).
• Ability to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Reasoning ability to understand and carry out detailed written, illustrated, or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Remodel bathrooms in 1-2 days using carpentry, trim carpentry, plumbing, and construction skills.
• Adhere to The Bath Authority installation standards and procedures.
• Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude with customers.
• Respect customers’ property and leave the work area clean.
• Wear the company uniform on the job, observing rules of good grooming and hygiene.
• Inform customers about the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and photos.
• Take inventory of the installation vehicle and keep it stocked with necessary tools, job components, and paperwork.
