100 Series Assembler - 10 Hour 2nd Shift
About The Position
Quanex is looking for a 100 Series Assembler - 10 Hour Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1am, with varying overtime needs during the busy season. This role involves operating and setting up production equipment, fabricating window and door screens, palletizing finished goods, and performing quality checks. Nice To Haves
- Production, assembly, warehouse, mechanical, or other hands-on experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up production equipment.
- Manually fabricate window and door screens and install screen cloth.
- Palletize finished goods.
- Perform quality checks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Work efficiently with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow.
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly report existing or potential hazards to the supervisor or team lead.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled hours.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
