About The Position

Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings for a 1:1 Student Aide - Preschool (Behavior Technician) in Putnam County, NY. This role is located in a Public Daycare setting and offers a part-time, fee-for-service arrangement with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 2 pm. The compensation is $19-20 hourly, determined by service, experience, and certifications. The position may be full-time or fee-for-service depending on caseload. Responsibilities

Assists a student with special needs by providing academic, behavioral, and personal support.
Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure the student’s success in the classroom.
Provide direct support to the assigned student in academic and social activities.
Assist with classroom assignments, adapting materials as needed.
Monitor and support behavioral goals, using positive reinforcement strategies.
Help with daily living tasks, such as mobility, hygiene, and transitions.
Escort the student to different locations (bathroom, cafeteria, therapy sessions).
Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and parents about progress.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Understand and demonstrate the company core values.
