About The Position

Make a difference one student at a time, helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn! Cross Country Education is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 medical support throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school in Easton, MD. This role involves providing 1:1 nursing care and medical support to a student with complex medical needs throughout the school day. The nurse will accompany the student to and from school via school bus, providing continuous nursing supervision and support during transportation. Responsibilities include monitoring the student’s health status and responding appropriately to medical needs in accordance with the student’s care plan and school protocols. Collaboration with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals is essential to support student safety, well-being, and participation in the school environment.

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in Nursing
Active, unrestricted Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License

Nice To Haves

Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or 1:1 care for students with complex medical needs preferred

Responsibilities
