About The Position
Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a full-time LPN or RN to work with a pediatric patient in a school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. The patient is a female with a history of cerebral palsy, epilepsy, pulmonary hypertension, and asthma. The role involves providing care in a 1:1 school setting in Hempstead, NY, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM. The patient requires nebulizer treatments and suctioning as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of nurse experience.
- NYS RN/LPN license and registration.
- BLS from American Heart Association.
- Physical, QuantiFERON within a year.
- MMR Titers within 10 years.
- Malpractice Insurance.
- NPI #.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care to a pediatric patient in a school setting.
- Administer nebulizer treatments.
- Perform suctioning as needed.
- Work closely with the patient throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
