This specific role involves a 1:1 Pediatric Nurse for transportation on a school bus and throughout a school program for a 3-year-old with seizure activity, who is non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and uses a VNS device.
Requirements
- NYS Nursing licensure required
- Must be computer literate
- Completion of onboarding required prior to training
- Must be able to complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed
- Must have malpractice insurance
Nice To Haves

- Experience with seizure activity
- Experience with non-ambulatory and non-verbal patients
- Experience with VNS devices
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care during transportation on a school bus and throughout a school program.
- Administer care to a 3-year-old patient with seizure activity, who is non-ambulatory, non-verbal, and uses a VNS device.
- Complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed.
