- Did anything change in the product? (Feature launch, redesign)
- Did marketing launch a campaign?
- External factors? (Press, holidays, competitor activity)
- Data issues? (Double-counting, tracking glitch)
- Quantify impact: Is this a 5% blip or a 50% change? That changes urgency.
- Communicate: Flag the team if it’s concerning or investigate more if it’s unclear.
