About The Position

Ensure the safety, efficiency, and overall guest experience of the ZipTour course while maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in extreme weather.
  • Proficiency with two-way radios and basic safety communication.
  • Must meet ZipTour ride requirements (height, weight, and health restrictions).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior zipline experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with guests of all ages and provide a welcoming experience.
  • Educate guests about Sundance's history, environment, and land preservation efforts.
  • Support sustainability efforts and promote a positive culture for guests and peers.
  • Comfortably work at varying heights to operate ZipTour spans.
  • Maintain safety standards, conduct equipment inspections, and complete daily opening/closing procedures.
  • Fit guests with harnesses and helmets, provide safety briefings, and oversee proper gear use.
  • Demonstrate proper use of PPE.
  • Assist guests with takeoff, landing, and course navigation while demonstrating proper zipping techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspect course components, and ensure all safety gear is in top condition.
  • Execute emergency procedures, including course rescues and weather-related evacuations.
  • Conduct winter operations, including de-icing cables and clearing snow from pathways.
