Requirements

Knowledge of confidentiality laws related to substance use and mental health treatment.
Strong ability to establish rapport with the client population.
Capable of clear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting.
Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding towards clients.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of background checks including criminal, driving, and abuse/neglect checks.
Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
First Aid and CPR certifications within 30 days of employment, with annual renewals.
Completion of behavioral management training within the first 30 days of employment.

Two years of responsible employment history preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support to clients in a safe and welcoming environment
Help lead or support group activities that promote learning and wellness
Watch for important behaviors and share updates with the team
Assist clients with daily living tasks like meals, hygiene, and routines
Be an active team member focused on each client’s needs and progress
Drive clients to appointments or outings when needed
Follow program guidelines and complete all required training
