The Employment Skills Specialist shall provide employment skills (Primarily Hancock County) training and mentoring: assisting clients with programs, activities, and routines to assist and retain employment. The employee will develop a working relationship with employers for the purpose of providing job training and employment opportunities for assigned clients. Follow-up with employers and clients will occur in order to encourage and support both the employer and the client. This employee will ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environments in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices.
