About The Position
Baptist Health Louisville is seeking PRN Radiology Tech. Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively. In addition to technical duties, this role involves upholding Baptist Health’s Core Values—Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Collaboration, and Joy—while supporting the organization’s commitments, stewardship, and culture of safety. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Active KBMIRT at time of hire
- ARRT within 90 days of hire
- BCLS certified within 90 days of hire
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside
- Produce high-quality images for radiologist review
- Maintain accurate records
- Complete quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Verify patient identity and orders
- Adhere to departmental protocols
- Monitor patient safety throughout exams
- Apply radiation protection measures
- Assist radiologists when needed
- Manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting
