About The Position

Packsize is seeking a technical writer to create enterprise-grade support documentation for high-automation machinery. The technical writer will author user manuals, specifications, and other support materials related to hardware products. The technical writer must be able to work independently and have a strong ability to break down complex procedures into clear, easy-to-follow steps. This position requires demonstrated experience in developing complex procedural documentation and a deep understanding of content management best practices. Ideal candidates will have experience with knowledge base management and exposure to generative and agentic AI solution management. Up to 10% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global engineering, product management, quality assurance, and other senior team members to create manuals and support documentation for high-automation machines
• Author complex technical and administrative content that adheres to technical writing quality standards and meets compliance expectations
• Work with a team of technical writers to manage a controlled document library and enforce document control processes
• Develop strategies and best practices for organization-wide information management of technical documentation, knowledge base content, and other technical resources
• Contribute to governance and strategic deployment of generative and agentic AI solutions
• Independently execute process improvement initiatives of complex scope
• Represent the interests and standards of the Technical Documentation team when collaborating with teams and leaders across the organization
