About The Position

Ada Bible Church is seeking a Worship Leader with a passion for God and a heart for seeing people grow deep in their relationship with him. The Worship Leader leads and inspires others to focus on God and engage with him through worship. As a Worship Leader, you will be part of a team with unified vision and purpose to grow worship culture into the life of the church. Our worship teams encourage attenders to connect with God through worship during weekend services as well as weekly student ministry, young adult ministry, women's ministry, and men's ministry activities and other church events. We also aspire to be part of what God is doing through the local church by serving community events. With many opportunities to influence and help shape worship culture, this position is full-time.

Requirements

• Is a skilled musician, proficient playing one or more instruments
• Is a strong vocalist with an ability to coach and develop other vocalists
• Relates warmly to other people and cares deeply about them
• Thrives in a high-feedback team-oriented environment
• Has 2 or more years of experience leading dynamic worship
• Is eagerly committed to following Christ and exhibits a thriving relationship with him
• Membership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for hire but you should be willing to become a member within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with our statement of faith

Nice To Haves

• Is proficient in Protools, Logic, and Ableton with track/music creation ability (not required, but a big plus!!)

Responsibilities

• Lead worship in a way that resonates with and invites congregants in a variety of ministry environments to connect with God through worship
• Lead and provide direction to worship teams during rehearsals, weekend services, and other ministry activities and events
• Care for worship volunteers and encourage their spiritual development
• Recruit, train, develop, and mentor worship volunteers
• Participate in creative service planning with ministry leaders to ensure worship needs are met with excellence and consistency
• Collaborate with Director of Worship and worship staff to shape worship culture at Ada Bible Church
