About The Position

VISION: The vision of Sandals Church is to be real with ourselves, God and others. THE ROLE: Authentically lead people into a dynamic worship experience for Sandals Church Corona. THE SCOPE: You will influence the organization at the Campus level. YOUR SUPERVISOR: Campus Pastor: Bret Maxwell HOURS: 25 per week

Responsibilities

  • Build, care, and develop your worship team members
  • Recruit and audition worship team members consistently following the Sandals Church Worship Team policy
  • Care for and lead your worship team spiritually
  • Facilitate team rehearsals, and properly manage worship team property and spaces
  • Build a relational, attractive, and unified team culture in collaboration with your Production lead
  • Determine and meet your monthly build, care and develop goals
  • Equip and empower your campus worship team members, and develop other leaders who can do what you do
  • Execute dynamic worship services at your campus each week
  • Schedule full teams 2 months in advance and proactively manage declines
  • Communicate service and musical elements with the band, production leads, campus pastor and other staff members to execute meaningful services with excellence
  • Maintain campus worship team rosters on PCO & CCB in a timely manner
  • Discern the spiritual needs and formation opportunities of your congregation in collaboration with your Campus Pastor
  • Proactively develop and hone your planning, programming, creative, and musical skills
  • Prioritize a personal and active relationship with Jesus, practicing fruit bearing spiritual disciplines
  • Participate in weekly Campus Engagement Meeting
  • Support midweek and special events as needed or hours allow
  • Participate in Campus specific events as hours allow
  • Participate in worship or weekend programming specific meetings, trainings, and events as scheduled
  • Collaborate with the Central Support team to train your team and develop leaders
  • Commit to being receptive to a positive culture of feedback and evaluation while understanding that this is a key component for growth, excellence and success in your role.
