About The Position
To assist the worship and music arts department i n administration and ministry as i t relates to carrying out the ministry's purpose of cultivating God-glorifying, engaging, and nourishing worship at High Point Church in all of its worship environments.
Responsibilities
- Updating websites used by the ministry
- PCO
- CCLI / Song Select
- Google Drive
- Executing Sunday service coordination
- Scheduling elders / scripture readers / communion volunteers
- Scheduling worship teams
- Scheduling tech teams
- Coordinating / cascading service information to volunteers
- Executing volunteer appreciation
- Gifts and thank yous to volunteers
- Stocking breakfast foods for Sunday morning volunteers
- Community events for volunteers
- Band leader
- Preparing the music portions of worship services when scheduled in this role
- Leading rehearsals and coaching musicians on these teams
- Tech team member
- Running tech on Sundays
- Maintaining the tech equipment and worship equipment
- Periodically coordinating/leading/planning special services such as National Day of Prayer, quarterly prayer nights, etc.
- Mentoring, developing, and empowering worship leaders and volunteers in the variety of worship environments at High Point Church
