About The Position

We are looking for experienced and certified Workstation Engineer to join our team. The engineer will provide Tier 3 support for our enterprise workstation environment, with a focus on AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) , SCCM , Intune , GPO , and Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in workstation architecture, including network protocols , proxy/firewall configurations , and enterprise security standards .

Requirements

  • 7 + years of experience in enterprise workstation engineering or IT infrastructure support.
  • Proven experience with: Microsoft Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) Microsoft Intune and Autopilot Group Policy Management (GPO) Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments
  • Strong understanding of: Proxy and firewall configurations Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) Azure AD and hybrid identity models
  • Experience with FSLogix, MSIX app attach, and session host scaling.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100/MD-101)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced (Tier 3) support for workstation-related escalations, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Manage and optimize AVD host pools, session hosts, and VM images using tools like Azure Image Builder.
  • Configure and troubleshoot FSLogix profiles, Azure AD integration, Group Policies, and MSIX app attach.
  • Support SCCM and Intune for software deployment, patching, compliance, and endpoint configuration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues involving proxy, firewall, VPN, and network routing.
  • Lead or assist in the deployment and maintenance of workstation infrastructure in Azure.
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for support processes.
  • Participate in change management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
