Join us on our mission of making the world a safer place About Securitas: Our Values: Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness Our Team: 340,000+ skilled employees Established: Securitas AB (1934) – Helsingborg, Sweden Industry: Providing global and specialized services (6 Pillars) Job Summary: This role will primarily be responsible for implementing all aspects of the California Law related to workplace violence to include developing policies, procedures, and best practices, conducting hazard and risk related assessments, developing and implementing training, and ensuring compliance with related laws by collecting data, metrics and records, writing reports, conducting preliminary investigations related to workplace violence. As a member of the Global Physical security group this role will be a subject matter expert and will share in the management of the global workplace civility program. This role is shared in the responsibility for protecting employees, property, and the safety and security of employees, clients, contractors. The role will conduct investigations and inquires, security related risk and hazard assessments, maintain records, write reports, track data and metrics to understand trends, develops and influences policy decisions made by the Senior Director of Security Risk and Investigations.

Requirements

  • Must Be at Least 18 years of Age
  • Valid U.S. Passport (Due to Moderate Travel)
  • Ensures Delivery of High-Quality Customer Service
  • Organized, Self-disciplined, Technologically Savvy, Compliant, and Communicates Timely and Effectively at all Levels
  • Strong Understanding of Industry Specific Legislation and Compliance Requirements
  • Understanding of or Experience in Testifying in Court or Legal Depositions
  • Two (2) Years’ Experience in Conducting Complex Investigations
  • Data Management and Data Analysis Experience
  • 5+ years of Security Management/Law Enforcement Experience
  • Or an Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience as Determined by the Company

  • AA, AS, BA or BS Degree (Preferred)
  • Industry certifications (Preferred)
