Job Summary Serve as the primary point of contact for employers within Absence and Disability Services, supporting customer retention and facilitating stay-at-work (SAW) and return-to-work (RTW) programs. Oversee, develop, and implement comprehensive RTW/SAW plans for claimants, ensuring alignment with established protocols and best practices. Provide guidance to case managers and accommodation specialists, deliver employer education, and manage escalated service issues while maintaining expertise in ADA, PWFA, and related compliance regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or related field required.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in return-to-work or vocational case management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional certification (CRC, CDMS, ARM, CCM, or CPDM) required or ability to obtain within 2 years.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA, PWFA, and accommodation-related compliance and regulations.
  • Experience interpreting medical information to support case management activities.
  • Ability to provide training, develop job aids, and support employer education.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI and bots preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage RTW/SAW programs for assigned customers, ensuring program objectives are met.
  • Provide consultation and support to case managers and accommodation specialists on complex cases.
  • Deliver orientation and education to employers, including process overviews and portal guidance.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance program success and customer experience.
  • Lead moderate projects, audits, and contribute to external publications.
  • Ability to work occasional travel (planning, team-building, conferences) is a requirement of the role.
