Workplace Experience Manager Arlington, Virginia- Onsite 5 days a week Position Summary The Workplace Experience Manager is responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of workplace experience, facilities, and office services at the Thales Arlington VA site. Key Areas of Responsibility Reporting to the North American Senior Director of Real Estate and Facility Management, these roles operated with general discretion and independently manages site operations, vendor coordination, workplace initiatives, and employee-facing service to ensure a safe, efficient, and engaging work environment. The role applies established policies, standard and processes to solve moderately complex operational issues, partners cross-functionally across Corporate, Country, and Business Unit stakeholders, and contributes to continuous improvement of workplace services while escalating novel, high-risk, or non-routine issues as appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in workplace operations, facilities management, hospitality, office services, or related operational roles
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage site-level operations or defined workplace programs with general direction
  • Proven ability to exercise professional judgment and make operational decisions that impact service delivery and employee experience
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
  • Experience overseeing vendors or service providers, including performance monitoring and issue resolution
  • Ability to resolve moderately complex, non-routine operational issues within established policies and frameworks
  • Strong planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

  • Workplace & Facility Operations: Independently manage day to day workplace operations and office services for the Arlington site, ensuring a high-quality employee and experience.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for facilities management partners, property management, and service providers, coordinating activities and resolving operational issues within established guidelines.
  • Vendor & Service Management Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and building services providers, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Manage service requests, track completion, and follow up on recurring issues to drive service reliability and efficiency
  • Workplace Experience & Employee Engagement Plan and execute onsite meetings, conferences, and employee-facing events, including logistics coordination, vendor engagement, and day-of support.
  • Collaborate with site and functional leadership to support workplace initiatives and onsite activations that enhance employee engagement, site utilization, and community-building.
  • Health, Safety, Security & Compliance Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of site-level Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures, including emergency preparedness and evacuation planning, in coordination with HSE leadership.
  • Assist with site security processes in accordance with established procedures, including badge access, access control coordination, and visitor management.
