About The Position

The Workplace Experience Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the workplace environment within a commercial real estate (CRE) organization. This role focuses on creating a productive, safe, and engaging workplace for employees and visitors in a fast-paced, dynamic technology client environment. The Workplace Manager leads direction with cross-functional teams, collaborates with various stakeholders including HR, Facilities, IT, and external vendors, and ensures timely delivery of team objectives and service level agreements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in workplace management, facilities management, or related roles within a commercial real estate or corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of 5+ people in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent deliverables and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting using Excel, PowerBI, or similar analytics tools to generate business insights.
  • Proven presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level business reviews and monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of facility inspections and preventative maintenance programs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Knowledge of workplace trends, best practices, and industry standards for creating productive and engaging work environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Operations : Lead workplace teams with guidance, mentorship, and performance management while managing deliverables, timelines, and cross-functional coordination in fast-paced environments
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Collect and analyze workplace performance metrics (space utilization, service volumes, costs, satisfaction) and deliver monthly business review presentations to senior leadership
  • Facilities & Space Management : Oversee maintenance, inspections, preventative programs, space planning, office layouts, and ensure optimal workplace conditions meeting safety and environmental standards
  • Workplace Services & Technology : Manage employee amenities (reception, mailrooms, conference rooms, fitness centers) and workplace technology systems (access control, booking systems, AV equipment)
  • Vendor Relations & Budget Control : Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service quality while developing budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Work Order & SLA Management : Oversee work order ticket systems, enforce strict SLA compliance for response times, and conduct quality audits of vendor and team performance
  • Employee Experience & Compliance : Support engagement initiatives, workplace events, communication strategies, and ensure compliance with all relevant workplace regulations and policies
