About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Workover Rig Operator to lead rig operations and oversee a crew of 3–4 personnel. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a workover rig, tubing operations, and related oilfield equipment. Out-of-town assignments are compensated with a $170 per day per diem, paid in addition to hourly wages. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running a workover rig and can confidently manage daily rig activities while maintaining strict safety compliance.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience operating a workover rig
Proven ability to perform all aspects of rig operations
Strong knowledge of tubing procedures and rigging techniques
Experience with pump and tank operations
Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass DOT drug screening
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent climbing, standing, and working at heights
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physically capable of performing all rig floor duties

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a workover rig in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards
Lead and supervise a crew of 3–4 rig personnel
Perform tubing operations including picking up and laying down tubing
Operate tongs, elevators, slips, and related rig equipment
Monitor rig performance and adjust operations as needed
Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance
Oversee pump and tank operations
Load and unload tools, supplies, and rig components
Ensure compliance with OSHA and oilfield safety regulations
