Requirements
- High school diploma/GED; some college coursework or technical certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate production teams.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
Nice To Haves
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of production associates.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Train new employees on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations on the shop floor.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain accurate production records and submit reports to management.
