Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members on production processes and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and production schedules
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management
  • Associate's degree in a technical field preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification
  • Forklift operator certification

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operations workers.
  • Train new employees on company procedures, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Perform hands-on production tasks, operating machinery and assisting with assembly as needed.
  • Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and production issues.
