Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
  • First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train production line staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily production schedules and assign tasks to team members to meet manufacturing targets.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment, performing minor adjustments or escalating complex issues to maintenance.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products and in-process materials, documenting findings and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, addressing employee concerns and promoting teamwork.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
