About The Position

Pries is looking for working CNC Lead to add to our 2nd shift team! We are hiring on 2nd shift, M-F and a possible Saturday depending on production. Wage varies from $25-30 per hour, higher pending experience! Training on 1st shift required! 2pm-10pm

Requirements

5+ years of CNC machining experience
1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of tooling, and machining processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with setup, fixturing, and troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and support CNC machinists in daily production activities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and/or lathes
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Ensure parts meet quality standards and customer specifications
Coordinate workflow and prioritize jobs to meet production schedules
Train and mentor team members on machining techniques and safety practices
Perform tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments as needed
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues
Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Safety Department
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Clean and organize your work area
