About The Position

Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring a Workforce Operations Supervisor (3rd Shift) to manage on-site staffing operations inside a manufacturing facility in Muncie, IN. In this role, you will oversee workforce scheduling, employee relations, attendance tracking, and headcount management while partnering with client supervisors to support production goals. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in staffing, manufacturing supervision, workforce management, HR coordination, or production leadership. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in:
  • Staffing operations
  • Manufacturing supervision
  • Workforce coordination
  • HR or employee relations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume staffing operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Vendor Management Systems (VMS)
  • Experience with HRIS or workforce management systems (UKG preferred)
  • Background in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily employee headcount and shift coverage
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and workforce scheduling
  • Track workforce data using workforce management systems (UKG or HRIS)
  • Ensure staffing levels support production and operational needs
  • Serve as the primary overnight contact for employees
  • Address attendance issues, workplace concerns, and employee questions
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support
  • Assist with documentation, disciplinary actions, and employee terminations
  • Work closely with client supervisors and operations managers
  • Communicate staffing updates, workforce needs, and operational challenges
  • Support strategies that improve employee engagement and retention
  • Maintain accurate workforce records and documentation
  • Support safety reporting and incident documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards
