About The Position

The Institute for the Study of Adult Literacy (ISAL) is seeking a Workfor c e Development Program Consultant responsible fo r assisti n g Workforce Development System Liaison Project sta f f . Th is role will involve a variety of responsibilities , including: Developing training for adult education program staff . Developing resources for programs . Contributing to the development of various written and online program deliverables . Other similar tasks that support Division-funded adult education programs in Pennsylvania .

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Workforce Developmen t or a related discipline plus one year of related experience ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of, and experience with, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, workforce development, and career pathways
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A bility to creatively solve problems
Experience using Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and web conferencing tools

Nice To Haves

Knowledge in adult education theory and practice and English as a Second Language theory and practice are strongly desired

Responsibilities
