About The Position
Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal Birmingham | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office) A well-established insurance defense firm with an office in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense/ Workers’ Compensation Defense Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing cases from inception through resolution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation defense experience preferred
- 3+ years of Insurance Defense experience required
- Strong knowledge of State Board of Workers’ Compensation procedures
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence
- Experience managing medical records and case summaries
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with billing time!
