About The Position

As a Workday Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing Human Capital and PSA solutions for a global consulting firm. You will leverage your Workday technical skills to streamline workflows, implement integrations, and deliver standardized dashboard metrics for Delivery Operations and Leadership. This role will work to deliver well-designed, integrated, and user-friendly solutions that automate / streamline HCM/PSA processes and ensure data integrity to support the rapidly scaling business.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of HCM / PSA Workday experience.
  • Workday experience in Integrations and Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Trending, BIRT) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of time entry rules, pay calculations, work schedules, and absence accruals.
  • Experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, or Composite reports preferred).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into system functionality.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR clients, cross-functional colleagues and IT.
  • Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong HR and/or PSA acumen and technical aptitude in data management and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, make independent decisions, and exercise discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of consulting operations and staffing processes.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, FMLA, leave policies, and workforce management best practices.
  • Experience with integrations with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a partner supporting designated areas in Workday (Core HCM, Talent Management, Resource Management, Time Tracking, PSA, and Talent Acquisition).
  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday.
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
  • Diagnose and resolve functional problems related to time entry, time calculations, absence requests, accruals, and payroll integrations.
  • Configure, maintain, and test Workday Time Tracking and Absence business processes, rules, eligibility conditions, accruals, and work schedules.
  • Support the implementation of new features, functionality releases, and system upgrades through Workday Releases.
  • Assist in testing integrations, security, annual events.
  • Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, Locations).
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and end-users as appropriate.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues.
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.
  • Stay current with Workday Community, training, and industry trends.
