About The Position

We are looking for a Workday Integration Specialist to join our People & Payroll Systems team, an energetic team focused on finding robust, pragmatic, and elegant solutions to difficult problems. The Workday Integration Specialist serves as a technical point of contact for assigned projects, including solution design, technical documentation, implementation, and production support. We strive to build reliable, fault tolerant systems that can operate at Cloudflare’s scale.

Requirements

  • Total 8+ yrs of experience with Bachelor's Degree or higher in technology-related field or relevant experience in implementing Business systems
  • Proficient technical knowledge of Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and third-party payroll vendors (such as ADP, PwC etc.)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience of software development developing Workday inbound and outbound Integrations
  • developing Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
  • developing Workday EIBs, Core Connectors, RaaS and Web Services
  • working with Workday Studio
  • working with Workday Object Transporter (OX)
  • Knowledge of XML and XSLT are essential as they are the primary development skills to interact with SOAP and REST based web services, while Java and MVEL are secondary technical skills
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendor systems
  • Self-motivated and exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively while demonstrating a sense of urgency
  • Ability to think and deliver creative value-added solutions to business through self-initiative and ownership
  • Experience with Jira and Google Suite
  • Experience in building strong working relationships with business partners, application users, project managers, internal IT team, external application consultants

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Integration Certifications preferred
  • Workday Extend knowledge a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a range of system integration initiatives involving Workday and other systems
  • Help design, build, test and support our inbound and outbound Workday integrations
  • Integrate Workday HCM with third party global payroll and benefit providers
  • Configure integration security
  • Troubleshoot and fix production support
  • Create and update business processes
  • Develop Workday custom reports, including BIRT, Workday Docs
  • Create and launch EIBs
  • Work with Development, QA, and Production Support teams to communicate, verify, and test the desired functionality changes
  • Work with internal business users to demonstrate the changes to the system and ensure all relevant business needs are addressed
  • Create and Maintain system design documentations
  • Manage multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
  • Work on other assigned projects and tasks as needed
