Business Systems focuses on acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including: identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives; making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology; researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices); translating business requirements into application requirements. Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of related professional experience. Summary: The Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst performs a wide range of activities that support the optimal use, functioning and data integrity of Workday. Residing within the Human Resources (HR) department and working closely with the IT Department, the position liaises across the HR teams to provide user support and education as well as feedback, analysis and reporting on data, workflow and system functionality for strategic business planning and decision-making. HR Technology Production Support Support all enhancements as part of the production support team Workday, or other HR technologies, configuration for projects and/or production support Performs testing activities to ensure development/configuration work meets user requirements, such as functional testing, end-user testing, developing testing criteria to drive test script. Provide and support ad hoc reports as needed Complete data audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of HRIS information Research and resolve issues and errors related to data transfers from HRIS to other K12 systems or vendors, including benefit providers Partner with the IT Department in the design and development of system interfaces to support systems interoperability Facilitate and assist with project management of people related program and initiatives, such as annual performance assessments, talent review and compensation planning Complete user access audits to ensure HR data is appropriately restricted Execute bulk employee changes via EIB Product Area Owner Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders in HR and IT to understand their requirements and drive them towards adapting best practices and features. Maintain expertise on new functionality/features/capabilities in Workday, wider industry, and technology trends Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge Improve training and operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity Champion recommendations for continuous improvement including using technologies such as AI to give Stride a competitive advantage through its deployment of Workday. HR Technology Implementations Implements new systems and conducts user training in the use and features of systems and applications and other areas as needed (requirements, configurations, testing, training) Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
