About The Position

Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Workday HRIS Analyst to support and enhance our HR systems and processes. This is a full-time, 100% on-site position located at our Melville, NY headquarters. Please note: This role is not hybrid or remote. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to Melville, NY. We are seeking a hands-on HRIS Analyst with proven Workday experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in system configuration, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in optimizing HR processes and supporting operational excellence. Efficient and accurate HR systems are essential to our mission. Requirements

  • A dependable, detail-focused professional with a strong technical background in Workday (must-have)
  • Someone who can manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong communicator who can work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • An individual who understands the importance of data confidentiality and system integrity
  • 2–4 years of hands-on Workday experience is required (either in-house or consulting)
  • Experience with Workday business process configuration, calculated fields, and reporting
  • Knowledge of Workday system security and user access management
  • Formal Workday training required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be able to work full-time on-site in Melville, NY — no remote or hybrid options available

Nice To Haves

  • Support modules such as Recruiting, Talent Optimization, and Time Off (preferred)
  • Workday certification is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare or HR environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain business processes in Workday (e.g., onboarding, recruiting, performance management)
  • Build and manage custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards
  • Maintain Workday security roles and group settings
  • Support modules such as Recruiting, Talent Optimization, and Time Off (preferred)
  • Manage review templates, eligibility rules, notifications, and questionnaires
  • Assist with documentation, testing, and rollouts for system changes and enhancements
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and operations to gather requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and recommend system improvements
