Primary Purpose The New Business Work Management Scheduler is an individual contributor accountable for scheduling support to New Business engineers who manage 3-phase commercial customers over 1000 kW of demand load focusing on complex jobs that may involve ATO, vaults and substation work. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, project scheduling, participating in task screening and schedule meetings with internal departments, monitoring task and switching schedules, review of planned and unplanned tasks, and project reporting. Management of large customer distribution project tasks, with minimum supervision. The New Business Work Management Scheduler is responsible for managing the schedule quality and stability of the department’s projects. These projects have budgets that will typically range from $100K to $25M+. Also, may manage business initiative projects with direct accountability for project execution while leading a team to accomplish objectives within a given time frame and with limited resources. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. This position is classified as remote hybrid and requires some in person meetings at various office locations within the ComEd territory.
