Performs the finishing/painting of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for finishing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of previous experience of wood finishing techniques such: Staining (oil and water base) Toning Sealing Top coating Sanding and buffing.
• Reading and understanding mixing specifications.
• Proficient using equipment and hand tools such: Spraying guns. Use of spraying booths. Sanders. Polishing machines.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency

Responsibilities

• Finishing of products: Product completion per Production Schedule
• Meet all critical product characteristics and color matching master sample.
• Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
• Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
• Observe all company policies and standard practices.
• Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
