The start date for the position is August 1, 2025. The Professional Counseling Program offers a CACREP-accredited Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. The program offers trauma-informed classes, with a concentration on the effective treatment of trauma and its implications on clients’ overall wellness. In addition to the infusion of trauma, the program is dedicated to the promotion of cultural awareness and competency; therefore, the curriculum is anchored in a cultural and social justice framework.
