About The Position

The candidate will provide systems engineering and life-cycle development for CACI Technology and Innovations Labs products. Conduct wireless protocol training, systems engineering, and relevant product support (maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and upgrades). Conduct research and development in wireless technologies. Additionally, this individual will actively participate in training customer-based requirements for CACI Wireless Solutions by developing and delivering training for CACI and its customers. Provide any and all support to the Technical Managers and Directors as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or 4+ years of relevant military experience in lieu of degree.
  • Active TS SCI with POLY
  • Proven technical aptitude to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and upgrades of wireless communication products
  • Direct and deep experience with systems supporting wireless protocols (PTT, DMR, GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, WiMax, and WiFi)
  • Must possess advanced targeting skillsets coupled with a thorough understanding of the operational cycle.
  • Thorough understanding of the data, tools and techniques used for each phase of the targeting process
  • Must have direct experience and identifying wireless and cyber vulnerabilities for exploitation
  • Ensure correct accountability and handling of all government property provided by the government
  • Established technical trouble-shooting skills with the ability to clearly articulate encountered issues to design engineers; capturing troubles and writing trouble reports as required
  • Work with project managers and external suppliers to ensure project deliverables are consistently met on schedule while consistently promoting TSC business strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software applications as required

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience providing direct support to tactical, operational units strongly desired
  • Prior experience supporting customers in a remote field location; operations experience; training development and delivery experience
  • Creative imagination leading to collaborating and promoting new products and ideas in exciting but practical ways
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptable to dynamic conditions, proactive identifying hurdles and willing to take ownership of accepted or assigned responsibilities
  • History of flexibility to adapt to new, challenging and changing opportunities

  • History of instructional capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a SME on all equipment and procedures associated with Wireless Solutions customers' CONOPs
  • Work directly with customers to define priorities regarding the order and criticality of the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and upgrades of the mission critical LGS wireless communication product portfolio and 3rd party vendor(s) equipment
  • Deliver guidance to intelligence analysts for all aspects of information gathering to include national level analysis, technical exploitation, collection, general research, threat assessments and intelligence product production
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices in support of training all technical capabilities associated with customers' CONOPs
  • Engage with program and business development staff to identify and propose solutions for new opportunities.
  • Participate in the development of project schedules and estimates
  • Systems test engineering experience required
  • Develop, maintain and deliver technical product training to customers
  • Use Government Property Management (GPM) systems and procedures to accept, ship, and track all equipment coming into and leaving LGS facilities
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary
  • Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites will range from 26% to 50% of the time OCONUS travel to hazardous areas
  • Provide flexible daily office hours as needed to support customers and systems in the field
  • Ensure correct accountability and handling of all government property provided by the government
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
