About The Position

Under supervision and following established policies and department procedures operate various fund transfers and communication computer systems as described in Essential Functions.

Requirements

• Education: High School graduate. Some college preferred.
• Experience: Previous banking experience in wire transfer processing environment preferred.
• Skills/Ability: PC proficient, type minimum 50 wpm, and ten-key by touch. Good math skills. Detail oriented with high emphasis on accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with Bank team members as well as Correspondent Bank employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate Payplus wire application and process funds transfers (incoming and outgoing).
• Operate SWIFT system and process various types of SWIFT messages.
• Input outgoing wires on Payplus and SWIFT applications with the highest degree of accuracy.
• Assist with wire investigations.
• Repair online banking wires.
• Track wires received from Branches or Departments, research disputes.
• Distribute Incoming SWIFT messages to internal departments.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of daily production logs.
• Assist with filing.
• Process various wire requests in PEGA automation system.
• Record statistics for assigned job functions.
• Ensure SWIFT MT950s & MT942 statements are sent daily.
• Perform End-of-Day balancing.
• Input wire on Fedline Advantage, as needed.
• Work variable hours which may be adjusted to accommodate workflow.
