About The Position
We are seeking a skilled wire EDM machinist that can perform all set-up and operational functions of wire EDM machines required to fabricate medical instruments and implants. Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years wire EDM machine experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wire EDM machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures.
- Program EDM machines, verify and test programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets and instructions.
- Use basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, etc.
- Burr removal on all parts where required.
- Make machine adjustments, tool changes, etc. as required.
- Interface with Epicor Labor Entry system and monitor work orders.
