Wire EDM Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

We are seeking a skilled wire EDM machinist that can perform all set-up and operational functions of wire EDM machines required to fabricate medical instruments and implants. Shift: 2nd, Monday - Thursday (4:30pm - 6:00am or 7:30pm - 6:00am) 15% shift premium for ALL 2nd shift hours worked! What You’ll Do: Operate and maintain wire EDM machines, finish machines, hand tools, and fixtures. Program EDM machines, verify and test programs. Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets and instructions. Use basic inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, etc. Burr removal on all parts where required. Make machine adjustments, tool changes, etc. as required. Interface with Epicor Labor Entry system and monitor work orders. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years wire EDM machine experience.
