About The Position

The Winter Day Camp Counselor position is responsible for supporting in the supervision of campers in small and large group settings. The Winter Day Camp Counselor is responsible for leading activities, as assigned. Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to lead and instruct a group of campers
• Must be able to identify age and grade level characteristics of campers
• Have knowledge in safety, care of equipment, inventory, skill instruction, and progressive age appropriate programming

Nice To Haves

• Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, supervision and safety for all campers in program
• Ensure adequate supplies and resources are available
• Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day which includes but is not limited to: camper check-in and check-out; meal times; activities and extended am and extended pm duties as assigned
