About The Position

The Windows 11 Deployment Technician is responsible for assisting with the rollout, configuration, and support of Windows 11 devices across the organization. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational IT experience who are looking to grow their skills in desktop support, operating system deployment, and enterprise IT environments. The technician will work closely with senior IT staff to ensure smooth deployments and a positive end-user experience.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred
• 6 months to 2 years of hands-on IT support or desktop support experience
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and/or Windows 11)
• Familiarity with PC hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts
• Ability to follow technical procedures and documented processes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with the deployment and upgrade of Windows 11 on desktops and laptops
• Prepare, image, and configure new hardware according to company standards
• Perform system checks to ensure devices meet Windows 11 compatibility requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic deployment, hardware, and software issues
• Support users during and after deployment, including setup and initial use
• Document deployment processes, issues, and resolutions
• Maintain inventory records for devices and deployment assets
• Follow IT security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or administrators as needed
