The Division of Fish & Wildlife conserves and manages Delaware’s fish and wildlife and their habitats, and provides fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing and boating access on nearly 65,000 acres of public land. Click here for more information about the Fish and Wildlife Division. These two positions are seasonal research assistants with Delaware's Species Conservation and Research Program. These positions will assist the State Herpetologist with various amphibian and reptile projects. The job responsibilities include conducting surveys for amphibians and reptiles; conducting radio telemetry and trapping; monitoring rare, threatened, and endangered species; identifying, measuring, and marking live animals; and entering field data into Excel and Google Earth databases. Positions will also assist with other wildlife research projects. Applicants must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled.
