About The Position
The wildland engine boss/firefighter is responsible for all aspects of assigned engine, crew, and equipment. They supervise and mentor engine personnel. While not on fire suppression assignments, personnel will complete hazardous fuels mitigation projects, community risk reduction projects and other tasks as directed by the Deputy Fire Chief. Position Description This position will be effective 12/21/2025
